Privacy policy

Amova Financials is a division of Amova Solutions Inc. (“we”, “us”), 1500 Fern Street, North Vancouver, BC V7J 0E6. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What we collect

Only what you enter in our “Request a conversation” questionnaire: your name, email, optional phone number, city, whether you are an individual, family or business owner, topics of interest, preferred contact method, best time and language, and an optional message. We also record the date and time of your request and the consent wording you agreed to. We do not ask for income, health, asset or account details; please don’t include them in your message.

Why we collect it

Solely to contact you about your request and arrange a free educational session. We contact you only with your express consent, by the method you choose. We do not sell or rent your information, and we don’t add you to a mailing list without separate consent.

Where it is stored

Submissions are received and stored by Cloudflare (our website host) in a Cloudflare D1 database, and copied to a private Google Sheet (Google Workspace) accessible only to the Amova Financials team. These providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.

Retention

We keep your request for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete it, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. We keep a record of your consent for as long as needed to demonstrate it.

Withdrawing consent & deletion

You can withdraw consent, or ask to access, correct or delete your information, at any time by submitting our questionnaire with “Privacy / data request” selected as the reason, or by mail to Amova Solutions Inc., 1500 Fern Street, North Vancouver, BC V7J 0E6. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the Amova Financials team.
